While most of us have packed our kit away and are contemplating what to do with our Saturday and Sunday afternoons for the next six months, two of our home-grown talents are heading off to sunnier climbs for a winter of cricket in Australia.

Seam bowler Teagan Broughton and leg-spinner Josh Cundy are both heading down to Victoria, Australia, for a winter of club cricket.

Teagan will be playing and coaching with Wyclif Cricket Club while Josh will be at Waurn Ponds Cricket Club, again doing playing and coaching.

The pair follow in the footsteps of a number of our Academy graduates who have spent a winter in Australia honing their skills, with Chris Preston being the most recent one last winter having spent the winter with Highton Cricket Club.
