There’s been a change in playing regulations for the sides in Divisions 7, 8 and 9 of the Leicestershire & Rutland League for the 2019 season.
Following a vote amongst all of the clubs within those divisions, over 60% voted to reduce the number of overs played to 40-overs per-side. Bowlers over limits have also been reduced from 12 to ten.
It was also agreed that the same ball would be retained, rather than moving to the next grade of ball.
The only side impacted by this change are the Fours, who open their season with back to back away matches against Wigston Town and Great Glen on 4 and 11 May.
